Ingredients for 1500 ml compote

  • 1300 g plums
  • 1060 g water
  • 65 g sugar
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vinegar

Besides that

  • 3 x 200 ml preserving jars
  • 3 x 290 ml preserving jars

And this is how it works

Sterilize jars - ideally with the MaxiSteam from Wundermix. Wash plums, halve and remove the stones
    Put plums, 60 g water, sugar, cinnamon in mixing bowl
    Start food processor: Cook for 13 minutes / 100 °C / anti-clockwise / level 2
    Fill compote into jars and close jars
    Immediately after filling the jars, place them in the Varoma. The small jars go in the bottom of the Varoma container and the large ones on the shelf. Now place the MaxiSteam on top and close the Varoma.
    Put 1000 g water and vinegar in the mixing bowl, place Varoma on the Thermomix
    Start food processor: 45 min. / Varoma / level 1
    Then let the jars cool down and store in a dark place
