WonderWash Disc

What could be better than dishwasher-safe kitchen appliances? Simply put everything in the dishwasher after baking or cooking and the kitchen looks just like it did before. What is not so practical, however, are kitchen utensils that, due to their shape, do not seem to have been made for the dishwasher baskets - for example, the knife from the Thermomix. It is too big for the cutlery basket and in the dish basket the knives can slip through the grates and get caught in the spray arm. That is annoying!

That's why we developed the WunderWash Disc. The mixing blade is simply inserted into the disc and then placed between the dishwashing rods.

The WunderWash Disc is not just there to ensure that the mixing blade has a permanent place in the dishwasher. Because it is inserted horizontally into the disc, it can be cleaned particularly thoroughly. The water gets ideally between the blade and the sealing rings and easily rinses out dough, sauce, etc.

Good to know: You often hear that the blender knife should not be cleaned in the dishwasher, as the blades could otherwise become blunt.
In contrast to conventional knives, the blades of the blender knife are not sharp even when new.
The mixture is chopped exclusively with the help of high power and enormous speed and not cut by sharpness as is often mistakenly assumed.
True to the motto: "If something is already blunt, it can't get blunt again", the mixing knife can be cleaned in the dishwasher with a clear conscience without affecting the function or longevity of the blades.

The fact that all Thermomix accessories are dishwasher safe makes using the food processor even more convenient. But while most accessories can easily be placed in the dishwasher, Thermomix owners are puzzled as to where to store the bulky mixing bowl lid and clean it properly.

The lid is too wide to fit between the plate rinsing rods and, when placed in the upper compartment for glasses, a lot of space is wasted cleaning the lid. As a result, the accessory, which is not popular during cleaning, is simply squeezed in somewhere where there is space, which in the long run damages the sensitive silicone seal, often leads to rinsing water collecting in the lid after the rinsing process and generally does not ensure thorough cleaning.

Thanks to WunderWash, the lid holder for the dishwasher, the mixing bowl lid can now also be cleaned in a space-saving, convenient and thorough manner.

Application
Insert the WunderWash into the dishwashing rods in the lower dishwasher basket. Depending on the distance between the dishwasher's rinsing rods, use the two outer, the two inner, or one outer and one inner locking slot in the WunderWash lid holder. The rows of rinsing rods in the lower basket of your dishwasher have different distances and dimensions. So just test which row the WunderWash lid holder fits best in. Ideally, WunderWash is slightly fixed in place by the rinsing rods so that it sits firmly.

Now insert the handle of the dirty mixing bowl lid into the lid slot in the middle of the WunderWash lid holder and start the rinsing process.

Tip : If you own several mixing bowls, it is best to order a WunderWash for each existing lid at a special price.
