Homemade instead of bought: Popsicles are the summer hit for everyone! With the steam juicer attachment for your Thermomix, you can conjure up fresh fruit juice and turn it into delicious popsicles. Not only is it fun, it also tastes simply incomparable!

Ingredients for 8 ice creams

  • 1000 g berries
  • 90 g cornstarch
  • 30 g sugar
  • 8 ice cream sticks

that's how it works

Fill the mixing bowl with water and put the lid on without the mixing bowl.
The Steam juicer attachment from MixFino Place it on the mixing bowl lid and insert the hose into a separate, heat-resistant container.

Put the berries in the Varoma, place it on the steam juicer attachment and put the Varoma lid on.

Start the food processor: 50 minutes/Varoma/Level 1

Stop the cooking process as soon as no more juice comes out of the hose. Then clean the mixing bowl.
Pour the juice obtained, as well as the cornstarch and sugar, into the saucepan.

Start the food processor: 5 seconds/level 1 and allow to cool slightly in the mixing bowl.

Then fill into ice cream molds of your choice (e.g. WunderCups from Wundermix ).

Add popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 12 hours.

Which fruits are suitable for juicing?

Many types of fruit are suitable for juicing, such as currants, raspberries, cherries, elderberries, grapes, rhubarb and apples. In general, you can juice almost any fruit, especially those that have a thin skin or do not need to be peeled. Soft fruit is particularly suitable. With stone fruit, the seeds and small stems can simply be used - practical!

Make sure to wash the fruit thoroughly before juicing. Larger fruits such as apples should be cut into smaller pieces beforehand to make the juicing process easier.
