This inconspicuous all-rounder is often underestimated. When used correctly, it is a clever all-rounder for baking and decorating. We have put together 6 tips for you on what you can use our dough card for - 7 if you want to use it as an alternative to an ice scraper for clear car windows.

1. First and foremost, a pastry card is there to divide and portion dough. The knife-shaped beveled sides glide effortlessly through any dough.
2. Thanks to the slightly rounded corners, you can also scrape out your bowl with the pastry card. The slightly flexible card adapts to the curves, but the material is still sturdy enough to hold even heavy, sticky bread dough.
3. A dough card is a must-have for anyone who bakes bread frequently. Not only does it make it much easier to cut the dough, it is also quick and easy to roll the dough into rounds. 
4. If you don't use a food processor like the Thermomix®, you can easily mix and blend your ingredients on the worktop or in a bowl using the Wundermix dough card.
5. The pastry card from Wundermix is also ideal for smoothing cream and ganache on your pastry creations. Thanks to the long edge, the mixture can be spread and spread evenly over the cake. 
   Tip from the Wundermix team: If you apply your cream or frosting with a piping bag and want to remove the unsightly air bubbles from it beforehand, use the smooth side where you normally hold the card. Carefully push the mixture with this side towards the closed opening of the piping bag. This way, no filling is wasted and you can work cleanly. Incidentally, this method also allows you to squeeze the last bits of tomato paste out of the tube.
6. And last but not least: The pastry card makes the tedious clean-up easier. Sticky dough residue on the worktop and flour can easily be scraped off with the smooth side. Then simply put the dough card in the dishwasher.
