Yesterday I saw the latest commercial for Duplo on TV: From probably the world's longest chocolate to probably the world's smartest chocolate . Well, slogan or not, that inspired me: Delicate duplo waffles in a juicy marble cake. I am thrilled. What do you think?
TM5 - For 1 mold Ø25cm or 2 molds Ø 16cm
Additives for the cake
- 250 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 1 sachet vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- some lemon juice
- 3-4 eggs
- 400 g flour
- 1 sachet baking powder
- 125 ml milk + 1 tablespoon milk
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 2 tablespoons rum
- 5 Duplo
Editives for decoration
- 3 Duplo
- Cast chocolate
- icing sugar
Mix It
- Baking oven to 180° Preheat circulating air
- Gugelhupfform grease well and sprinkle with flour
- Pour butter into mixing bowl and stir until soft; 40 sec | Level 5
- add sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, eggs, and lemon juice and stir; 30 sec. | level 5
- flour, baking powder and 125ml add milk and mix → 40 sec. | step 5
- 2/3 of the dough in the mold and leave the rest of the dough in the mixing bowl
- cocoa powder, rum and 1 TBSP. add milk and mix → 10 sec | level 5
- Distribute the dark dough over the light and carefully mix with a fork until it is smooth -->This is how it is made
- Bake in the oven for 60 minutes (180°).
Pimp It
Dust icing the cake with icing sugar or decorate it with a chocolate icing or duplost.
