Lasagne is just spaghetti flavored cake. That may be true. But how good is this cake? For me, lasagne is the perfect meal to surprise my loved one with a glass of red wine on a Friday evening after a hard week at work. The only thing that mustn't be missing are the candles - attention kitsch alarm. :-)
TM5 - For 6 portions
Ingredients
- 150 g Gouda
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 carrot (peeled)
- 1 celery
- 2 tbsp oil
- 500 g minced meat, half and half
- 1 tin of chopped tomatoes, with liquid á 400 g
- 30 g tomato purée
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cube vegetable stock
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp oregano, dried
- 50 g butter
- 80 g flour
- 600 ml milk
- 1.5 tsp salt
- approx. 9 lasagne sheets, without pre-cooking
Mix It
Chop the Gouda into pieces and decant → 10 sec. |speed 8
Minced meat sauce
- Chop the onion, garlic cloves, celery and carrot → 8 sec | level 5
- with the spatula down and chop again → 8 seconds | level 5
- Add the oil and sauté → 2 min. | level 1 | aroma
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees
- Add the minced meat and mix → 5 min. | gentle stirring stage, left-hand rotation | Varoma
- Add the tin of tomatoes with liquid, tomato puree, salt, vegetable stock, sugar and oregano → 12 min. | reverse | 100° | level 2
- Transfer the sauce and pot rinse out
Béchamel sauce
- Melt the butter → 2 min. | 100° | speed 1
- Add the flour and stir → 1 min. | 100° | speed 1
- Add the milk and salt and stir together → 10 sec | speed 5
- Bring everything to the boil → 8 min. | 100° | level 2
- with the spatula around the bottom of the base, as there may be butter and flour residue stuck, and then stir again briefly → 10 seconds | speed 5
Layer It
- Pour a thick layer of béchamel sauce over the base of the baking dish
- Place the lasagne sheets on top without pre-cooking
- Cover with the minced meat sauce
- Top with some béchamel sauce
- Sprinkle a little cheese on top
Repeat steps 2-5 until the casserole dish is full
- Spread the last layer of béchamel sauce and sprinkle with the remaining cheese
- Bake in the preheated oven at top and bottom heat → 30 min. | 200°
