Our recipe for roasted coconut almonds with delicious chocolate

You will need the following ingredients if you have 200 grams of almonds in the Thermomix would like to prepare:

  • 200 g almonds, whole
  • 70 g sugar
  • 1 sachet vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 30 g water
  • 50 g grated coconut
  • 100 g milk chocolate couverture, in pieces

Seven easy steps to delicious roasted coconut almonds with chocolate

  1. Place a large bowl (with a suitable lid) on the mixing bowl lid, weigh in the grated coconut and set aside.
  2. Put the almonds, sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon into the mixing bowl and heat for 6 minutes/flavor/left/speed setting 1.
  3. Add the water and heat for 9 minutes/flavoring/left/speed setting 1.
  4. Remove the measuring beaker and heat for 1.5 mins. with the reverse button/speed setting 1. The almonds should now be crumbly and coated in sugar. Transfer the almonds to baking paper and leave to dry.
  5. Put the couverture in a clean mixing bowl, chop for 5 seconds/speed setting 10 and melt for 1 minute/50°C/speed setting 1.
  6. Add the almonds and mix for 20 seconds/speed setting 2 with the reverse button.
  7. Put the coated almonds into the bowl with the grated coconut, cover with a lid and shake well. Then place on a piece of baking paper and leave to dry.
