Yesterday I saw the latest advertising sport for Duplo on television: What was probably the longest praline in the world became probably the smartest praline in the world . Well, slogan or not, that's what inspired me: tender Duplo waffles in a moist marble cake. I'm excited. What do you think?
TM5 - For 1 mold Ø25cm or 2 molds Ø 16cm
Ingredients for the cake
- 250g butter
- 250g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- some lemon juice
- 3-4 eggs
- 400g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 125 ml milk + 1 tbsp milk
- 3 tbsp cocoa
- 2 tbsp rum
- 5 Duplo
Ingredients for decorating
- 3 Duplo
- Chocolate icing
- powdered sugar
Mix It
- Preheat oven to 180° fan oven
- Grease the Bundt cake pan well and sprinkle with flour
- Add the butter to the mixing bowl and stir until soft → 40 sec. | Level 5
- Add sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, eggs and lemon juice and mix → 30 seconds | Level 5
- Add flour, baking powder and 125ml milk and mix → 40 seconds | Level 5
- Pour 2/3 of the dough into the mold and leave the rest of the dough in the mixing bowl
- Add cocoa powder, rum and 1 tbsp milk and mix → 10 seconds | Level 5
- Spread the dark dough on top of the light dough and mix carefully with a fork in a spiral shape -->Here's how it's done
- Put it in the oven and bake for 60 minutes (180°).
Pimp It
Dust the cake with powdered sugar or decorate it with chocolate icing or Duplo pieces.
