Baked apple liqueur is the perfect addition to the Christmas season - whether as a small homemade gift or for yourself. You can easily make this deliciously aromatic liqueur with the Thermomix. 

The scent of apple, cinnamon and vanilla conjures up a cozy atmosphere in your home. Let yourself be inspired! 

Ingredients for 1.4 liters of liqueur 

  • 250 g brown sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 800 g apple juice
  • 300 g brown rum

And this is how it works


1. Preparation:

Rinse the bottles, enough for approx. 1.4 liters, in hot water and set aside.

2. pulverize the brown sugar:
Place brown sugar, cinnamon stick (halved) and vanilla pod (halved) into the mixing bowl. Best Miximizer for dust-free pulverizing. 
Start the food processor: Chop for 20 seconds/speed setting 10


3. heat the apple juice:

Place the cinnamon stick and vanilla pod in the steamer basket, insert, add the apple juice.
Start the food processor: Heat for 10 min./100°C/speed setting 1

 

4. add rum.

Start the food processor: Blend for 20 seconds/speed setting 3

5. decant

Fill into the prepared bottles while still hot.

When storing, keep in a cool, dark place, so your liqueur will keep for at least 3 months - if you can resist that long!
