White bread with green olives - Baked in a wooden baking frame

 

Today we have a great Mediterranean-inspired bread for you!
Baked in one of our wooden baking frame.
With olive oil and a few green olives in the dough, this tastes like a vacation to us!
Served with a tomato and bell pepper spread and home-pickled olives. Pure indulgence!

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 bag of dry yeast or 1/2 cube of fresh yeast
  • 150 ml lukewarm water
  • 100 ml lukewarm milk
  • 100 g olives, without stone
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Put the olives without stones into the blender jug and chop for 5 seconds/speed setting 5 and decant. Put all the dough ingredients into theWhite bread with olives-02mixing bowl and mix for 4 seconds/speed setting 5. Then knead for a further 3 mins/speed setting. Tip the dough out onto a clean work surface, knead well again and pour into a large oiled bowl. Cover and leave to rise for an hour, knead again by hand and place in the baking frame, which has previously been oiled on the inside. Leave to rise again for half an hour so that the bread rises well. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200 °C. Place a bowl of water in the oven. Just before baking, dust the bread with a little flour and bake on the middle shelf for approx. 35-40 minutes until light brown. After about 5 minutes, turn the temperature down to 175 °C. Depending on your oven, baking may take a few minutes longer. (Please follow the instructions for your oven!)


Note: The amount of dough must be adapted to the respective baking frame!

 

RECIPE NOTES

The breads taste particularly great when baked in the wooden baking frame baked in a wooden baking frame.

The wooden baking frame are made of solid beech wood and give the bread a great taste of its own, just like a wood-fired country loaf.
