- 1 1/2 l water
- 1/2 savoy cabbage
- 250 g ribbon noodles
Sauce:
- 500 ml cooking liquid
- 1 pack of cream cheese
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/4 tsp vegetable stock
- salt
- pepper
- nutmeg
INSTRUCTIONS
Halve the onion and chop for 5 seconds/speed setting 5. Add the olive oil, bacon and cooked ham and sauté for 4 min./ Varoma®/speed setting 1-2.
Pour in the water and place the chopped savoy cabbage in the Varoma® and cook for 18 min./Varoma®/speed setting 2.
Then put the ribbon noodles into the mixing bowl through the lid opening and cook for a further 10 minutes/reverse cycle/Varoma®/speed setting 1. Drain through a sieve and collect the cooking liquid. Mix the pasta and ham with the savoy cabbage in a bowl and keep warm.
To make the sauce, put all the ingredients into the mixing bowl and cook for 3 minutes at 90°/speed setting 2. Season to taste, pour over the savoy cabbage and ham noodles and stir through.
RECIPE NOTES:
Savoy cabbage can also be replaced with white cabbage. In this case, use caraway instead of nutmeg. You can also replace the cabbage with leek, then just use pepper and salt and possibly liquid seasoning to taste.
