Pineapple-chili "jam"

 

 A different kind of "jam"! With the #Thermomix ® once again made very quickly.
Slightly spicy, sweet and perfect with cheese, steamed fish or grilled meat.
Try them on a slice of freshly baked bread with soft cheese! Great!

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g fresh pineapple peeled & cut into small pieces
  • 1 red chili pepper without seeds & cut into small pieces
  • 1 p. vanilla sugar
  • 250 g gelling sugar 2:1

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Put all the ingredients into the blender jug and chop for 4 seconds/speed setting 4.
Then bring to the boil for 10 mins/100°C/speed setting 2.
Then puree for 6 seconds/speed setting 8 and immediately pour into twist-off jars and turn upside down.

Note: tastes delicious with cheese, steamed fish or grilled meat.
