Cod with lime sauce
Today we have another great and quick fish dish for you as our #recipe of the week.
It's child's play to prepare in #Varoma® and almost cooks itself.
This leaves time for other things.

INGREDIENTS:
- 200 g basmati rice
- vegetables of your choice
- 750 ml water
- 400 g cod fillet
- 1-2 spring onions
- salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Lime juice to taste
Lime sauce
- Juice of one lime
- 1/2 liter cooking liquid (one third can be replaced by cream)
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- vegetable stock to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Yeast flakes to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
Place the vegetables in the Varoma® to taste and sprinkle with a little vegetable stock.
Put the water into the mixing bowl, place the basmati rice in the cooking tray and cook for 35 min./Varoma®/speed setting 1.
Season the cod fillet with salt and pepper, sprinkle with lime juice and place it in the insert.
Cut the spring onions into rings, place on top of the fish fillet, add the insert base to the Varoma ® approx. 15 mins. before the time is up and finish cooking. Then transfer everything and keep warm.
Lime sauce: Boil the juice of one lime, cooking liquid, rice flour, vegetable stock, pepper and yeast flakes for 3 min./100 °C/speed setting 3.
Yeast flakes are available from health food stores, but can also be left out.
