INGREDIENTS

  • 260 pieces of milk
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 85 g sugar
  • 550 g wheat flour 405
  • 85 g margarine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 100-150 g coarsely chopped chocolate
  • 1 egg yolk

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Put the milk, yeast and sugar into the mixing bowl and mix for 2 minutes / 37°C / speed 2. Add the flour, margarine, salt and chocolate and knead for 2 mins. Shape the dough into a ball, cover and leave to rise for 20 minutes. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions, roll into rounds, cover and leave to rise for 30 minutes. Brush with beaten egg yolk and bake at 180°C fan oven for approx. 20 to 25 mins.

Tip 1: As the chocolate buns are very popular in schools and at nursery parties, simply divide the dough into approx. 15-20 portions for small children's hands.
