Chevapchichi with and without ham coating
Today we have another #recipe for the #Thermomix 31®. This can of course also be prepared 1:1 in the #TM5®. Chevapchichi are grilled rolls made from spicy minced meat that are very popular in south-eastern Europe. They are also well-known and popular in this country.

INGREDIENTS:
Chevapchichi
- 1 piece of onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 20 g olive oil
- 150 g feta or sheep's cheese
- 700 g minced meat mixed
- 2 tbsp oat flakes
- 1 tbsp gyro seasoning
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 dash Tabasco
- 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
- salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 2 packs of cooked ham to roll up
sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
- 50 g olive oil
- 1 tbsp herb butter seasoning
- 150 g feta cheese
- 1/2 sachet herb cream cheese
- 70 g tomato purée 1 small tube
- oregano to taste
- Parika sweet to taste
- 400 g cream or milk
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat the oven to 200° fan. Cut the onion into rings and place in the oven dish.
Put the other onion and the garlic into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 seconds/speed setting 5. Add the olive oil and sauté for 3 minutes/speed setting 2 without the measuring beaker. Put the feta into the mixing bowl and stir in for 2 seconds/speed setting 4. Add the remaining ingredients to the Thermomix® and knead for 1 min/speed setting.
Now roll the dough: Take a small portion of the dough and form a ball. Shape this ball into a roll and then roll it into the ham. The ham can also be left out.
Then place the roll on top of the onions in the baking dish.
Turn the oven down to 160° and place the baking dish on the middle shelf (180°C for top and bottom heat) and bake for approx. 15-20 minutes. Rinse out the mixing bowl and chop the garlic cloves for 3 seconds/speed setting 5. Now pour in the remaining ingredients for the sauce and cook for 5 minutes/90°C/speed setting 2
After the baking time, remove the baking dish from the oven and pour the sauce directly over the contents. Reduce the oven temperature to and another 10 minutes bake
