Ingredients:
- 5-6 tart apples
- 3 tsp baking powder
- juice of one lemon
- 2 tsp lemon zest
- 150 gr sugar
- 200 ml cream
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar 1 pinch of salt
- 3 eggs
- 300 gr flour
Topping:
- 150 gr butter
- 100 gr almond flakes
- 50 gr sugar
- 4 tablespoons milk
Powdered sugar for dusting
Preparation:
Peel the apples and remove the cores. Mix with the small kitchen slicer into fine slices in the large mermaid and mix with the lemon juice. Now put the cream, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs and salt into the mixing bowl and beat for 1 min/speed setting 4 until frothy. Stir in the flour, baking powder and lemon zest for 20 seconds/speed setting 4 and decant. Rinse out the mixing bowl and dry, then melt the butter in the mixing bowl and roast the almonds in it. Stir in the remaining sugar and milk and bring to the boil once. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Now place the dough on the large round stone or the large oven wizard with the little string player and top with the apple slices and bake in the middle shelf position for 10 minutes. Spread the almond mixture over the cake and bake for a further 15-20 minutes. Dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar using the Streufix and enjoy the cake.
