- Optimal preparationAlways remove fruit pits and stones! Remove the peel from citrus fruits. Cut harder ingredients such as carrots into small pieces to improve the juice yield. For fibrous ingredients such as celery, empty and rinse in between.
- Use fresh ingredientsUse fresh fruit and vegetables for the best taste and maximum nutrients. It is best to look for organic quality.
- Soft, juicy ingredients as a baseJuice fruits such as pineapple or apples first - they help to process firmer ingredients better.
- For constipationIf there is a blockage, e.g. in the pomace, simply take it apart briefly and rinse under running water.

However, not all types of fruit and vegetables are ideal for juicing, as some contain very little juice, have a difficult consistency or can clog the juicer without preparation.
Fruit that needs to be prepared in advance:
- Cherries and other stone fruit (e.g. nectarines, peaches, plums)
Always remove the pits before juicing - Citrus fruits (e.g. lemons, oranges, mandarins, grapefruit)
Peel in advance, as the peel contains bitter substances and does not provide any juice. The peel can also damage the appliance. - Watermelon
Remove the peel before juicing. Works better without seeds. - Pineapple
Cut away the peel in advance as it could block the juicer
