Rotweinmuffins aus dem Thermomix

Red wine in a cake? Oh yes! This recipe for moist red wine muffins from the Muffinizer will delight you and your guests. The delicate hint of red wine combined with dark chocolate makes these little cakes a real explosion of flavor - and they only take 20 minutes to cook! Thanks to the Muffinizers and the Gugelix these minis are particularly fluffy and irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients for 6 muffins from the Muffinizer: 

  • 75 g butter, soft, in pieces, a little more for greasing
  • 75 g wheat flour, plain, a little more for flouring
  • 45 g dark chocolate, in pieces
  • 75 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon, ground
  • 0.5 tsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 35 g red wine

Please adapt the recipe slightlyif you are using the Gugelix instead of the Muffinizer baking.

Gugelix approx. 400 g 35 min./flavoring/level 1
Muffinizer approx. 300 g 20 min/flavoring/level 1


And this is how it works

  1. Put the chocolate into the mixing bowl.
    Start the food processor: 7 seconds/speed setting 7 e.g. with Miximizer chop 

  2. Add the butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar and salt.
    Start the food processor: Mix for 1 minute/speed setting 5

  3. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cocoa and red wine. 
    Start the food processor: Mix for 20 seconds/speed setting 4 

  4. Place the silicone molds in the Muffinizer grease and fill with batter. 
    Tip: To hold the moulds in place when placing the Muffinizer, simply place the lid of the Muffinizer upside down underneath. This will keep the cups stable! 

  5. Muffinizer Place on the Varoma and Muffinizer-put the lid on.

  6. Weigh 500 g of water into the mixing bowl and place the closed Varoma on the Thermomix.
    Start the food processor: Set 20 min/flavor/speed 1 

  7. Leave the cakes to cool for 10 minutes, remove from the tins and decorate with icing and colorful sprinkles, for example.
