Yeast apple sheet cake

Today's recipe of the day is another great cake!

 

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 90 g sugar
  • 200 g milk
  • 70 g butter or margarine
  • 10 g rapeseed oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 500 g flour

Topping:

  • 5 large or 10 small apples
  • 1 cup of raisins
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Frosting:

  • 50 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream

Preparation:

Melt the yeast, sugar and milk in the mixing bowl for 3 minutes/37°C/speed setting 2. Add the remaining dough ingredients and knead for 3 minutes/bread setting. Decant, cover and leave to rise for 30 mins. Rinse the pan. Spread the dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper and pull up the edges. Leave to rise again. Peel the apples, cut in half and slice (do not cut through). Spread the apple halves over the dough. Now sprinkle over the raisins and cinnamon. Stir the icing for 1 minute/speed setting 5-6 and then spread over the apples. Bake in the preheated oven for approx. 3035 mins. at 180 °C (O/U).
