INGREDIENTS
- 8 rolls from the day before
- ½ bunch parsley
- 1 onion
- 30 g butter
- 120 ml milk
- 3 eggs
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 1 onion
- 50 g butter
- 600 ml water
- 1 cup of cream
- 2 tbsp sauce thickener or cornflour
- 1 tbsp vegetable stock
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 350 g fresh mushrooms
INSTRUCTIONS
Put the bread rolls from the previous day into the mixing bowl in two or three parts, turn up to speed 6-7, chop and decant. Chop the parsley on speed 5, then add the onion, butter and sauté for 1 min./100°C/speed setting 2. Add the milk, eggs, salt, pepper and nutmeg and cook for a further 1 min/90 °C/speed setting 2. Pour the mixture over the crushed bread rolls and form dumplings. Place the dumplings in the Varoma®. Chop the onion for approx. 5 seconds/speed setting 3, add the butter and sauté for 1 min/90 °C/speed setting 2. Now pour in the water, place the Varoma® on top and steam for 30 min./Varoma®/speed setting 1. Add the cup of cream (milk can be substituted), sauce thickener, vegetable stock (powder), salt, pepper and fresh mushrooms to the remaining liquid in the mixing bowl and cook with the Varoma® for a further 6 minutes.
