This time we have füa delicious dessert from the Varoma: Germknödumplings. Dishüfilled with plum jam and accompanied by ködelicious vanilla sauce. This treat may require two or three more steps than our last recipe, but it's not difficult and the result is definitely worth it.älle worth it :-)
And now let's go, quickly get the ingredients and in just under ühour you will have the Germknöready on the plate right in front of you.
Ingredients
Dough:
• 40g butter
- 125ml milk
- 7g dry yeast
• 35g sugar
• 1 pinch of salt
• 1 egg, grsizeM
• 300g flour
Füfilling:
- approx. 4 tablespoons of plum jam
vanilla sauce:
- 250ml cream
- 2 tsp vanilla paste
- 40g sugar
- 1 small pinch of salt
- 100ml milk
• 2 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon of beaten egg whiteästarch
- some poppy seeds for sprinkling
Preparation
1. First put the butter and milk into the mixing bowl and mix for 2 minutes on speed 2 and 37°CäWarm up. Then add the remaining dough ingredientsäand knead for one minute on the dough kneading setting.
2. Empty the dough from the mixing bowl (this is particularly easy with our TeigTwister). connectionßonto the floured work surface.äand spread in fourüdivide into four pieces. Each doughüflatten slightlyüPress a little flat, add plum jam and place the dough on top.üclose over itßclose it. Now turn over and place in the cooking paper lined shallow Varoma tray. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
3. Pour 500ml of water into the mixing bowl.üPlace the Varoma on top and fill the insert with the cooked yeast dough.ödeln and insert. Now dücook them for 20 minutes on Varoma setting 1.
4. When the yeast knotsöWhen the yeast dumplings are ready, remove the Varoma and empty the mixing bowl. Then add all the ingredients forüfor the vanilla sauceüand cook the sauce for 8 minutes at 80°C on level 2 (reverse) for 8 minutes.
5. Now it's time to serve: A yeast knoböon the plate, serve with vanilla sauce üpour overßand sprinkle with some poppy seeds.
