Selbstgemachtes Pflaumenkompott aus dem Thermomix

Whether you call them damsons or plums: The sweet stone fruit, which is slowly stewed in its own juice, is simply a delight as a stewed fruit compote! With your Thermomix the preparation is child's play. We show you step by step how to make this delicious compote yourself quickly and easily. 

Ingredients for 1500 ml compote 

  • 1300 g plums 
  • 1060 g water 
  • 65 g sugar 
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon 
  • 1 tsp vinegar 

Also 

  • 3 x 200 ml preserving jars 
  • 3 x 290 ml preserving jars 

And this is how it works

Sterilize the jars - preferably with the MaxiSteam from Wundermix. Wash, halve and pit the plums 
    Put the plums, 60 g water, sugar and cinnamon into the mixing bowl 
    Start the food processor: Cook for 13 minutes / 100 °C / reverse / speed 2 
    Pour the compote into jars and seal the preserving jars 
    Place the jars in the Varoma immediately after filling. Place the small jars at the bottom of the Varoma container and the large jars on the shelf. Now close the MaxiSteam on top and close the Varoma. 
    Pour 1000 g water and vinegar into the mixing bowl, place the Varoma on top. Thermomix place 
    Start the food processor: 45 min. / Varoma / level 1 boil down 
    Then leave the jars to cool and store in a dark place
