Poultry and noodle salad with mandarins

Today we have a steamed poultry and noodle salad for you in the #Thermomix® including Varoma®.

INGREDIENTS

  • 700 ml water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 200 g spiral noodles
  • 1/2 liter water
  • 300 g chicken breast
  • 100 g leek
  • 200 g mandarins
  • 100 g Emmental cheese
  • 4 tbsp mandarin juice
  • 150 g yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2-3 pinches of pepper

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Put the water and salt into the mixing bowl and cook for 13 min./100 °C/speed setting 1.

Add the pasta through the lid opening 7 minutes before the time is up (as per step 1). Drain the water, decant the pasta and leave to cool.

Pour ½ liter of water into the mixing bowl and close the lid. Cut the chicken breast into thin strips and place in the Varoma®. Place the leek in fine rings in the Varoma® insert, attach the Varoma® and cook for 15 mins./Varoma®/speed setting 1.

Remove the leek after approx. 7.5 mins. and leave to cool. Then mix the cooled leek and the cold chicken with the pasta. Add the chopped mandarins and the diced Emmental cheese.

Insert the blender jug and mix the mandarin juice, yoghurt, curry, salt and pepper for 5 seconds/speed setting 2, pour over the salad and mix well.
