INGREDIENTS
- 180 g flour
- 55 g butter melted, not hot
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt sprinkled on top
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs separated
- 240 ml milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
- 50 g chocolate drops
INSTRUCTIONS
Put the egg whites and salt into the mixing bowl and beat for 2 minutes/speed setting 4 until semi-stiff. Put the remaining ingredients into the mixing bowl and mix for 3 minutes/speed setting 3 to form a dough. Add the chocolate drops and continue to mix on speed 3.
Finally, using the spatula, fold in the semi-stiff egg whites on speed 3. The creamy mixture can be spread in a cake pop maker or a well-greased mini muffin tin. Bake the pancake poppers at 190 °C (O/U) in the middle of the oven for approx. 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool for approx. 10 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar or drizzling with maple syrup.
