Steam cooking in the Varoma: Juicy ham omelette with chives from the Thermomix Varoma

Whether it's a low-carb protein bomb for athletes or simply a quick and easy breakfast: The omelette, perhaps the simplest breakfast meal, is an integral part of the breakfast table for many people. Completely understandable, because it's also super tasty!

And thanks to the endless variety, everyone can find their favorite version.

But how is an omelette prepared in the Thermomix made? That's not possible, is it?

Yes, you can, and with the help of the Varoma tray it's actually quite easy!

Ingredients

  • 700g water
  • 5 eggs size M
  • 80g ham cubes
  • 1/2 bell bell pepper, diced
  • 50g sprinkled cheese
  • 1/2 bunch chives, chopped
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg

Preparation

  1. First weigh the water into the mixing bowl and place a sufficiently large bowl on the mixing bowl lid.
  2. Add the eggs, diced ham, paprika, sprinkled cheese, half the chives, salt, pepper and nutmeg to the bowl and whisk the mixture well with a fork.
  3. One leaf WunderGar Place a sheet of cooking paper in the middle of the Varoma tray and carefully pour in the egg mixture.
  4. Now cook the mixture for 22 minutes at Varoma level 1.

And the omelette is ready with the Thermomix prepared ;)
