Baking in the Varoma? It works!

Baking in a Varoma offers many advantages: The cake is particularly moist as it is cooked in steam and doesn't dry out or burn.

Make sure to use the springform pan (e.g. the Springform pan for the Varoma from Wundermix) well to keep condensation out, otherwise the dough could become rubbery. Cling film is best for this.

Also ideal for baking in the Varoma is the Gugelix from Wundermix. You can use it to conjure up six mini Bundt cakes in the Varoma in no time at all.

How do I use food coloring when baking colorful cakes?

Baking with food coloring gives your creations that little bit extra. Whether it's colorful cakes, cupcakes or cookies - you can achieve great effects with just a few drops of color.

The important thing is, high-quality food coloring to achieve vibrant, even results. Liquid colors are good for doughs, while gel colors are ideal for frostings and fondant.

Tip: Add colors slowly and mix well to achieve the desired intensity. This turns every cake into a colorful highlight!
