Christmas is approaching and the smell of delicious cookies, chocolates and cakes is everywhere. You get the feeling that the evil calories are landing on our hips just by looking at them, so today we're soothing our conscience with a delicious salad #recipe from our book "Salads fresh and delicious!"
The Waldorf salad is an unusual mix of vegetables, fruit and nuts, with a dressing that is more of a dip. Sounds interesting, doesn't it? Besides, we can put almost everything at once in our #Thermomix® and the starter is already on the table!
Best wishes from the #Landhaus team.
Preparation: 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 400 g celeriac
- 2 tart apples
- 12 walnut kernels or other nuts
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch white pepper
- 1/8 l cream whipped until stiff
INSTRUCTIONS
Wash, peel and roughly chop the celery. Peel the apples and cut into quarters. Put all the ingredients into the mixing bowl and chop for 30 seconds/speed setting 4.
If you want the nuts to be finer, chop them first. Finally, fold in the stiffly whipped cream and leave the dough to rest for another 10 minutes. Shape the bread and place in a hot oven. (Or place the dough in a Tupper Ultra pan sprinkled with flour and bake for 60 minutes with the lid on, then turn out and bake for 15 minutes on the oven rack). Bake at 175°C for approx. 70-75 mins.
