Mango-Chutney - Wundermix GmbH

You may also have wondered what would be the perfect accompaniment to the dumplings. For me it was clear: something for dipping, that would be great. Sweet-sour-spicy-fruity: a taste experience that is hard to put into words, but that's exactly what my mango chutney tasted like. Ideal for dipping the dumplings in and giving them a nice orange tinge.

TM5 - For 2 glasses

Ingredients:

  • 2 chilies
  • 2-3 cm ginger, peeled
  • 1 ripe mango
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 2 geh. teaspoon cornflour
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 100ml water
  • 70g raisins
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar

 

Mix It

  • Wash, deseed and roughly chop the chilies
  • Roughly chop the ginger
  • Place the chillies, ginger and 50g sugar in the blender jug → 10 sec | speed 6
  • Peel and roughly chop the mango. Add to the ginger/chilli/sugar mixture and chop → 5 sec | speed 5
  • Add the remaining ingredients and cook (uncovered) → 10 min. | level 1 | 100 degrees
  • Chop the chutney further as required
