Which Thermomix is suitable for pizza dough?

For pizza dough according to the Thermomix-recipe, as with traditional preparation, one thing above all is important: the kneading. You need these ingredients for the pizza dough from the Thermomix (four large pizzas):

  • 1000 g flour
  • 650 ml water
  • 4 tsp salt
  • 5 g fresh yeast

Mix the pizza dough with the Thermomix very quickly

When making pizza dough according to the Thermomixrecipe, your hard-working Vorwerk helper does most of the work for you. Pay close attention to the instructions and give the dough plenty of time.

  1. Put the water, 500g flour, salt and yeast into the mixing bowl of your Thermomix® mixing bowl and mix the dough for 5 minutes on speed 4.
    Wait 30 minutes until you continue with the next step.
  2. Add the remaining flour and knead the dough for 5 minutes using the dough kneading setting on your Thermomix.
  3. Then place the dough in a large bowl, cover with a cloth and put in a warm place for 12 - 48 hours. Carry out the next step 2 hours before the planned baking time.
  4. Divide the dough for the pizza into 4-6 pieces and fold each piece of dough to form even balls. After a further 2 hours resting time (covered), the dough is ready for processing.

Tip: Only spread the dough by pressing and pulling it evenly with your fingers and set the temperature of your oven as high as possible. This will make your pizza particularly fluffy and crispy.
