I can remember these little, waddy-soft, sweet things that I bought in the supermarket years ago, long before my hobby as a baker, and loved to eat. They called themselves French bread rolls or something similar. Today, thanks to Thermomix, I make them myself. The best way to enjoy it warm...
TM5 - for 12 Pieces
Ingredients for the dough
- 300 g flour
- 250 g low-fat curd cheese
- 40 ml milk
- 40 ml sunflower oil
- 1 pck baking powder
- 90 g sugar
- 100 g chocolate drops, bake stable
- 1 egg
Ingredients for croating
- 1 egg or some milk
Mix it
- Put all the ingredients for the dough into the mixing bowl except for the chocolate pieces and knead → 1 min | Dough Step
- Add the pieces of chocolate and stir in → 20 sec | counterclockwise | Level 2
- Place the dough on a well floured work surface, knead again briefly
- Form into a role
- Divide into 12 pieces and form into balls
- Place the 12 rolls on a baking tray covered with baking paper or in an appropiate dish and brush with the whisked egg
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for approx 20 minutes
