Bagels
Bagels fresh from the oven from the book " Delicious bagels from the oven Thermomix “

INGREDIENTS:
- 450 g flour 405
- 50 g cornflour
- 3/4 cube yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking malt
- 300 ml lukewarm water
for sprinkling:
- cheese
- poppy seeds
- Sesame seeds
INSTRUCTIONS:
Put everything into the mixing bowl and mix for 2 minutes/bread setting.
Leave to rise in the bowl until the dough peeks out of the top of the bowl (approx. 45-60 min), then knead again for 2 min/bread setting.
Now form balls weighing approx. 60g and make a hole in the middle with a wooden spoon or your finger, move in a circle to enlarge the hole.
Now bring the water to the boil and cook each bagel for 15 seconds on each side. Remove with a slotted spoon and sprinkle with cheese, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, etc. to taste on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake at 180-200°C for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
